Chronic lower extremity veins disease is a very common occurrence at both elderly and younger people.

Symptoms:

Swelling and pain in legs after a long standing, but the disease can progress to the appearance of wounds – venous ulcerations. One of the urgent conditions is deep vein thrombosis that can be complicated by pulmonary embolism.

Diagnostics:

Anamnesis, physical examination, ultrasound examination.

Treatment:

Surgical or conservative.
